POWERSCHOOL PARENT PORTAL: APPLICATION FOR ACCESS

  • You MUST Complete one form for each student.  So if you have two students at NMS we need two applications (one for each student.)
  • Parents must submit the application for approval prior to receiving the Parent Portal Access Codes and Information.  Please allow 1 week for applications to be checked for approval and Parent Portal Access to be available.
  • Parents must come to Newport Middle School in person with a Photo ID to pick up their Parent Portal Access Codes and Information. 
  • Applications can be submitted to the office for approval and parents may return to the Office to pick up their access information (upon approval) with photo ID.

2019 WCHS Registration Information:

Important Dates

March 13: Mr. Sheehe’s class receive their registration forms, and information on the registration process.

March 19: West Carteret Counselor speaks with the 8th grade class In the cafeteria during core 1.

March 20: Parent information session on WCHS registration in the Newport Middle School cafeteria beginning at 6:00 p.m.  All 8th grade parents/students are encouraged to attend. CCC field trip forms due back to homeroom teachers.

March 22: Field trip to Carteret Community College. Students will tour campus and learn about the various program opportunities, and  how they relate to high school courses.

March 25: Open house at West Carteret High School to learn about the courses, clubs, and athletics opportunities available to the students.  Open house begins at 6:00 p.m.  It is a chance to meet and speak with many of the teachers and staff.

March 29: Registration forms due.  Turn in to your Social Studies teacher.

April 2: West High School counselors will be at Newport Middle School meeting with each 8th grade student to finalize registration.  This will take place during ELA class.
