Read Across America Day Was A Huge Success!!!! Thank you to all the community members who participated in the event!!!!

Fall Athletic Information Updated 8-8-17

Football-Begins August 21st 3:00-5:30, Conditioning will be Monday-Friday 3-5:30, Athletes are to dress for the weather. We will be meeting in the bus parking lot and plan to practice on the field at Fort Ben. NO 6th Grade Participation at ALL for Football only 7th and 8th graders with a physical are eligible to participate.

 

Girls Soccer-Begins August 21st 3:00-5:30 any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade girl is eligible to participate.

 

Cheerleading-Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade girl is eligible to participate.  

  • Tryouts begin August 22nd, 3:30-4:00 paperwork, 4-6 Tryouts
  • August 23rd Tryouts 3:30-5:30
  • August 25th Tryouts 3:30-4:30 Auditions 4:30-5:30
  • Team will be announced by 8pm on August 25th

 

All Students participating in these activities must have a current up to date physical on file at NMS before they can participate.  

 

Game Schedules will be posted as soon as they are available.

Online High School Registration Instructions

POWERSCHOOL PARENT PORTAL: APPLICATION FOR ACCESS

 

Click Here to download the Application for Access to the PowerSchool Parent Portal
  • You MUST Complete one form for each student.  So if you have two students at NMS we need two applications (one for each student.)
  • Parents or students must return the application for approval prior to receiving the Parent Portal Access Codes and Information.  
  • Parents must come to Newport Middle School in person with a Photo ID to pick up their Parent Portal Access Codes and Information. 
  • One feature of the Parent Portal allows you to signup to receive daily emails containing student grades and attendance.
