POWERSCHOOL PARENT PORTAL: APPLICATION FOR ACCESS

  • You MUST Complete one form for each student.  So if you have two students at NMS we need two applications (one for each student.)
  • Parents or students must return the application for approval prior to receiving the Parent Portal Access Codes and Information.  
  • Parents must come to Newport Middle School in person with a Photo ID to pick up their Parent Portal Access Codes and Information. 
  • One feature of the Parent Portal allows you to signup to receive daily emails containing student grades and attendance.

Community Coat Drive and Swap

The MCMS Friends of Rachel Club is sponsoring a community coat drive and swap.  NMS will be participating as well. 

 

December 5 - December 14 - Bring to NMS your gently used and too small coats.  We will have a box in the guidance office.  The coats will be collected by MCMS staff on December 15.  The coats will be brought to a community coat swap at MCMS on Saturday, December 17 from 9AM-12PM.  Come to the coat swap on 12/17 if you need a coat for the winter.  

Project Christmas Cheer

Applications for Project Christmas Cheer are being taken at First United Methodist Church in Morehead City.  They are open Monday-Friday through December 2nd from 10am to 1pm.  Spanish Language interpreters are available on Mondays.
